Exclusive - NewMinuteNews.com Interviews one of Music’s Most Talented And Successful Guitarists Neil Taylor.

Neil Taylor plays the guitar for one of the worlds most popular, and successful artists, ever to come out of Britain, that is Robbie Williams.
His career with Robbie Williams band began in 2001, when he was asked to play on Robbie's album: “Sing When You’re Winning”.
Ever since then he has performed live on tour with Robbie playing concerts for up to 100,000 people a night!
One of his memorable achievements was playing to a staggering 375,000 people, over three days In Knebworth Park, August 2003.
This was one of the biggest music events in British history.
Neil has also played and preformed with other music legends such as Rod Stewart, Tina Turner, The Pretenders, Van Morrison Paul Young and Morrissey.

The Interview

NMN: What age were you when you first realized you had a love for playing the guitar?

Neil: I had an acoustic when I was 4,but didn’t start to play seriously until I was 13 when my parents bought me my first electric guitar!!

NMN: Which famous guitarists did you admire growing up?

Neil: I loved Marc Bolan[T.rex], Francis Rossi [Status Quo] of course Jimi Hendrix, but my all time favourite was Ritchie Blackmore [Deep purple]

NMN: Which 3 songs do you enjoy playing the most, either personally or professionally?

Neil: I enjoy playing Come Undone [Robbie Williams] playing it was great, I play a big solo at the end! In My Chair [Status quo] and Let Me Entertain you [RW] that’s amazing live.

NMN: You started to begin working with Robbie Williams in 2001, What is one of the most memorable concerts you've done with him?

Neil: Its got to be Knebworth, we played there for 3 nights...

NMN: How does it feel going back into the studio to record with Robbie this time around?

Neil: Its great, we are all having a lot of fun.

NMN: You mentioned in your blog, on your website www.silvermusic.tv that you are finishing your own album, what type of music can fans expect to hear from your new album?

Neil: Its guitar driven, rock.. more fun lyrics than I normally write. There is a song on my MySpace website it’s called Drunken lullaby! My last album under the name Dogwood [Toothpick's pillow] was a pain full process, this is much more light hearted. I also have a project with Jerry and Chris from Robbie's band, that’s very retro late sixties early seventies, its called Supersize, its a three piece rock band and it's fun to play.

NMN: Which of your own songs in particular, lyrically and artistically are you the most proud of ?

Neil: 'Every Day As It Comes' on the Dogwood album, it’s a very heartfelt lyric, not the most uplifting song to listen to, But I’m still proud of it. Drunken Lullaby on the other hand is very tongue and cheek!

NMN: Finally, What advice would you give to aspiring guitarist?

Neil: This is always a hard question..its not easy, you seem to take one step foward and 10 steps back, an uphill struggle, but try to get in a band to gain experience..and if you’re good enough eventually, you’ll get noticed or make it with your band.

17 year old Angel began work as a model

If you were stranded on a desert Island what person and 3 items would you like to be stranded with most?

My boyfriend Talan...my dog Tiki...and cant think of anything else!!

Who do you hold closest to your heart?

I hold 2 people closest to my heart...my Boyfriend and my brother Aaron who I love more than anyone

There are rumours that your sister Leslie is currently starting her music career, how do you feel about that

To be honest I dont care what Leslie does with her career all I will say is GOOD LUCK

You were doing modelling for a few years are you still interested in persuing it or do you want to go in a different direction now?

Right now I'm in the works of signing another modeling contract and starting my girl group.

The Season finale of 'Laguna Beach: The Real OC' which is airing in November,would you have liked to have done the series for another few years?
no there was no point, everyone is so spread out! but im planning on coming out with my own reality show--- everyone watch out for it ♥

Is there any moment in your life that you would like to relive, what would it be?
None, because I like to believe I learn from every moment i have lived.

Is it true that you are dating Aaron Carter?
yes :)

Now that you are famous, can you see who your true friends are compared to two faced people who pretend to be your friends and do you think it has made you wiser as a person?
I do realize who my true friends are, and im very picky when it comes to friends, but I dont base my friendships from what I saw off of the show, I know MTV over dramatized it, so i kinda take it like a grain of salt.

What moment in your life would you like to relive?

Howie: I would proably go to a few years back on new years day, we were in a hotel room in Orlando and all are families were there.

Nick: When we preformed in Tampa Bay were I'm from, my favourite quarter back for the team, he left and went to another team and then came back and at the same time we preformed at the Superbowl and it was my birthday.

What would you be doing if the Backstreet Boys never existed?

Nick: I'd be rockin in the free world.

What do you think of Dublin so far?

Kevin: I wish we had more time here. We've been here before at the 'Smashits Roadshow Tour', yesterday apparently i went to the oldest pub in Ireland.
